Journeying through Dementia is a design-led enquiry which has explored the needs of individuals at an early point of their dementia journey. This has culminated in a research-informed treatment programme and an award-winning product that supports the delivery of this. The intervention directly supports the delivery of ambition one of Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøing People Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøing Support (Alzheimer Scotland, 2017, 2020) \u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is recommended the delivery of Journeying through Dementia remains a core role for Occupational Therapy in Scotland to support the delivery of Scotland\u2019s Dementia Strategy (2023) Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøing People, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍøing Support (Alzheimer Scotland 2020) and the vision that rehabilitation empowers people to manage their health conditions (WHO 2023). \u202f <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
