Harini Jayaraman – Student at STOR-i, Â鶹¹ÙÍø<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hello! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born and brought up in India. I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Pure Mathematics at the University of Madras, Chennai, India. With a few modules from Statistics and Operations Research (OR) in my undergraduate degree, I was keen on exploring the applied mathematics field. I worked as High School Mathematics teacher while preparing myself for a research-oriented career in this field. Teaching experience motivated my research ambition further and I pursued a Master’s degree in Statistics at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland, prior to joining STOR-i. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My experience at the Master’s level in UCD, learning the practical implications of Mathematics and statistics persuaded my interest in further research opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was especially drawn to STOR-i due to its collaborative approach with industry partners and the chance to solve practical problems. I am thrilled to have joined STOR-i and looking forward to making the most of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my free time, I love to cook, read and enjoy watching cricket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
