Hi<\/strong>! I’m Harry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently completing my MRes as part of the STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training, based in Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø’s Mathematics Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I completed my undergraduate Master\u2019s degree in Physics, where I wrote my dissertation on the effects of anthropogenic climate change on clouds. I hope to take on a PhD project in Statistics with applications related to climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My research interests lie in machine learning and its applications in data science, particularly in time series forecasting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Anthropogenic aerosol emissions affect the albedo of clouds, increasing reflectivity and thereby exerting a negative forcing effect on global warming. This project aimed to quantify the onset and relaxation times of these effects for use as input parameters in climate models.<\/p>\n
