The programme offers PhD opportunities in Statistics and Operational Research (STOR), and works closely with a range of industry partners to ensure that research is relevant and useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The four years comprise of a Masters of Research (MRes) in the first year, and a three year period of research towards a PhD for the remainder of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRes year offers a mixture of taught, undergraduate-style modules in general operational research and statistics and an intensive module in coding, as well as emphasis on teamwork through group projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on the course, feel free to watch the short video below or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lancaster.ac.uk\/stor-i\/\">STOR-i &#8211;
