The STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), is a forward-looking and cutting edge PhD programme based at Â鶹¹ÙÍø. The programme offers PhD opportunities in Statistics and Operational Research (STOR), and works closely with a range of industry partners to ensure that research is relevant and useful.

The four years comprise of a Masters of Research (MRes) in the first year, and a three year period of research towards a PhD for the remainder of the course.

The MRes year offers a mixture of taught, undergraduate-style modules in general operational research and statistics and an intensive module in coding, as well as emphasis on teamwork through group projects.
